A Busy Weekend

Last weekend we were quite the hosts. We had off on Monday, so we had a family come over all day on Sunday and a different family came over all day on Monday. The attraction was our pool. Our pool is very nice, and because of our guests, we went in it for time #2 and #3! Both families have little kids who were excited to go in a pool (neither have a pool at their apartment). We had a good time playing hosts (as we figure out what that means).

On Sunday night, we went and ate at the "original" satay restaurant. Satay is barbecued meat with a sweet peanut sauce. It's really good, and at this restaurant it was great (and fast). Supposedly this restaurant was the original... While at the restaurant, our friend's daughter had a pink drink... can you tell?

On our way home, we drove by a LONG parade of people celebrating Wesak Day (a Buddhist Holiday). They had floats, candles, and lots of people. Check out our video to get a quick glimpse.
