After the make up party in the morning, we went straight to the city (an hour and a half away) to get some groceries and visit people. The first stop was to see friends who just had their first baby. Addison LOVES babies!
These are old photos, but here is the mom dad... (Matt has known him for 12 years already! This guy hangs on every piece of advice Matt gives and actually remembers it and follows it! Just one example is that he told us he will not hit his children-not the norm- because a long time ago Matt told him that there are other ways to discipline children)...
Their baby is only 17 days old, so they were staying at his parents' place for the 40 day confinement.
A quick side story: the couple on the left just had a baby after 13 years of trying! Being childless actually alienated them from their family until they could have the baby. Our friend's immediate family are the only ones who would didn't look down upon them because they didn't have a baby... What stress!
After that, at about 7 we headed to our old hometown and stayed till 11 with good friends - Their oldest daughter had her first baby last August. Here he is with Ang at 6 months:
