As class was ending last Wednesday, and the students were finishing their writing, I erased the old date on the whiteboard and put the next day's date. The Chinese girls in the class said "Mr Matt...." to each other in Chinese. I asked what they said and one said they said I was lazy. They didn't see how it was preparing and thus doing better work... They saw me as being lazy. Such different mindsets.
