We just got back from our week trip. We has a few days of our own vacation, and we also drove to meet three families to encourage them. We drove 16 hours total, and for the most part, the kids did great in the car.
We went to a safari, which was a bit disappointing (long waits for busses between each area, despite very few visitors, the male lion exhibit being closed, escalators off to save electricity), but the kids enjoyed it. The highlights were seeing the hippos and having a tiger roam around our bus.
