We've made it back safely. All of our 8 checked bags made it this time, so we're happy about that. We'll see our house situation soon enough - we're driving back as I write this. The kids slept on both flights for about half of each of them. We had a 20 hour layover in Beijing, which the airline provided a hotel. It was a bit sketchy, but the beds were very clean (though hard). Can't complain much about free things, though. We'll get.to our house at about 2:30am, so a slightly shorter layover would have been nicer, but we take what we can. Glad to be home.
