We had two different couples over for back to back dinners Friday and Saturday night. We made one pot of soup for both nights.
The first couple will get married next month. Both are transplants, meaning his and her families live far away. They've lived in our town for 6 years and this was the first time anyone has invited them over for dinner!
Sometimes the work of preparing food and cleaning the house is daunting, so hats off to Angela for making this couple's day (or 6 years). Also challenges us to invite people more often - who knows how much it might mean to them.
