Last week we made the 1+ hour drive.to kl many times. We made the drive an extra time because our good friends' grandmother passed away. She was old, but still sad.for then. When I found out, we knew we.had to drop our plans and go. We arrived.just in time... The body was still in the house. In Malay custom, they put the body in the house (covered with a blanket) while everyone says prayers. Then once.everyone in the family arrives, they go to the mosque and then bury the body. The grandmother.passed.at 6am and was buried by 3. Despite the driving, we're glad.we.went.to show our support.
