I spent the day using a hodgepodge of old bricks to make our new wall. It feels good to reuse old bricks that I'd otherwise have to find a place to get rid of them.
I will finish the wall, which needs to go up another foot, tomorrow, and then put a skim coat of cement on the outside to hide the ugliness. I was able.to reuse the metal rebar from the old post, though the cement part of it was a joke. The picture at the bottom shows the post after a few good shakes (yes, shakes, not wacks with a hammer).
