My friend who I have known since my first summer here (2002!) had his second baby 2 weeks ago. After the baby got over a fever, we made the time to see her.
It was a full day - leaving at 6:45am to go to 2 doctors appointments, then to the US embassy to renew Angela's passport (45 minutes away) then back to the doctor for a follow up for Titus (his pdtn has heard a heart murmur for the past few visits, so we planned to have it checked by a padeatric cardiologist, who did a full ultrasound and found everything working / closed up properly, just an innocent murmur, meaning nothing to be concerned with).
After the appointment we popped over.to a mall to get a present for our friend and dinner (no time for lunch). We arrived at our friends house at about 8:30 and left at 10:30. Home at 11:45... Probably.spent 5-6 hours in the car.
The visit was great - no shortage of things to talk about. Addison loved playing with their older daughter (2 1/2).
The only downside was Addison falling asleep in school today. Oops...
