I took Addison on a bike ride yesterday - in the pack. It worked better than expected, though still hard on my back. We managed to go all the way back in our neighborhood which is about 4 miles round-trip.
Then today, since our top (2nd story) roof is leaking, I borrowed a ladder and went up. Sadly there was no obvious leak, so I just covered the roof with a tarp and called it done.
Since I had the ladder, I also closed up some holes bats get in and out with, but sadly that's probably a lost cause since our neighbour's connecting house also has bats, and holes, and there are places the bats can squeeze between our houses. Maybe it'll help.
