We celebrated Addison's birthday with her friends a bit early so that it didn't conflict with the upcoming school break.
We invited about 15 of her friends. At a bit after 2, only one had come - oh no! What if nobody comes? Our little girl would be so sad as we'd been talking about it for the past week.
Finally by about 2:20, most of her friends had come - though one family hadn't and the others said she wasn't coming because her parents had another party to go to (the two girls did end up coming).
We had a lot of fun - food, cake, painting and games. Have a look.
After eating rice, chicken nuggets and hot dogs, first, we played animal limbo:
Then we gave out little wooden dinosaurs, ducks and robots and the kids painted them:
Then it was time for cake. And yes, that's a motorcycle, alien and animals on her cake, chosen by Addison!
