So this last week everything related to water has been breaking. First, our water filter started leaking. Then yesterday our hot water heater started acting up. Then last night our upstairs toilet tank float broke.
Thankfully I was able to replace part of the water filter with spare parts I had saved. The screw threads disintegrated. They are made from plastic and the diameter is like 6 inches... Really cheap plastic if you ask me.
The toilet float is an easy fix, but annoying. Thankfully the toilet does have a shut off valve, which believe it or not is not the norm here.
The hot water heater still works, but the relay board needs some persuasion to get working... I'll need to replace the paltry or whole thing at some point.
