Today I had a meeting with co-workers to discuss workshop ideas. I have given workshops in the afternoons to my teachers, once every two weeks (which means so far, I've given 30+ workshops). As you can imagine, the ideas start getting used up, so it was good to hear from others and their ideas. I even learned a bit of Afrikaans - one of the ELEVEN official languages of South Africa.
After the morning/afternoon meeting (9-2) we went to Tesco (UK version of Wal-Mart) and got some groceries, etc. We even bought a baju kurung for Addison (traditional clothes) for the upcoming celebrations (pics to come soon).
After dinner, we finally drove home at around 7PM and noticed something new in our town. Below, I give you one of the first Western Ambassadors in our town. No McDonalds, no 7-11, but now we've got a good ol' KFC:
