Here the hospitals don't issue birth certificates. The hospital writes a letter and then you take that letter to a special office to get the birth certificate. It was a simple process, and thankfully we can go to any office in the country, so that meant we could go to the office literally 30 seconds from our house. So after a half hour of submitting paperwork and filling out forms, she's now officially born :)
The next step is to get a birth cert. from the embassy. All the paperwork has been submitted for that, a passport, and a SS#. We'll probably go to the embassy in the next week or so to do that. Then Addison will be ready to travel to her country and meet her family and friends on the other side of the pond :).
