You know how when you haven't talked to a friend in a while, you chat for a while, and then inevitably they put on their young child to say hi bye... Well, I finally got ahold of our old neighbor who moved away. We talked for a while and then he put his 5 year old son on the phone. He was obviously scared to talk, but his dad helped him out by telling him what to say. His FIRST question was... "Da makan?" (Have you eaten yet?) I guess this doesn't actually mean have you eaten, but are you healthy. If you're healthy you say "Da..." (Already). Quite funny...
In other news, we get our car tomorrow! We went to the dealership with our check in hand (after spending 3+ hours at three different banks to get the check... ) and the car was there. We saw it - it's real! It was registered today, and tomorrow we will go after work to collect the car. It will be SO nice to have a car. They gave us a free gift of a full tank of gas... Probably we'll use the entire tank just driving around. We will post pictures once we have it in our possession.
