A Trip Out of Town

We took a trip this last weekend to go and visit our neighbors who moved away a few weeks back. We drove down on Saturday afternoon and came back on Sunday evening. They just bought a small restaurant near the beach and the state just to the south. The drive took about 2 hours going and an hour and 40 coming back. We met our friend by the town sign, so we snapped a picture of it...

We went to his restaurant and got a drink. After that, we were tired, so we decided the best thing to do when you're tired is to play with kids. We got out the frisbee and taught them. They loved it. They had never thrown a frisbee before, but with some teaching, they did great! Some were quite good.... I think they just loved the attention.

A Video... The word "nak" (which sounds like knock) means "want" or "I want"... kids will be kids :):

Later that night we ate dinner and we got try try "gearbox"... its basically a cow leg without the meat but with the fat... The soup is good, but definitely fatty and high in cholesterol.

The house we stayed at (which was our friend's uncle) was nice. Our room was comfortable and they had several trees and plants in the back - including about 100 chili plants... Gotta have your chili peppers...

The next day we went out to a small island near the beach. During low tide you can walk there...

One last picture... here's a work bus... Nice blue color?
