A busy week

So this week we haven't had much time to stop and breathe. It started on Monday with a friend going to the hospital. Because of this, work was crazy on Monday and Angela spent the entire day on Monday at the hospital. We were at the hospital on Monday and Tuesday until 10-11 at night, and then when our friend was released on Wednesday, we visited until late on Wednesday. Thursday we had language and got home at about 8:30. On Friday, we had a date night of pizza and movies at home. It was great to come home and relax, finally, after a long week.

We are almost finished with the second part of our language course. We have two more classes (next week) to finish, and then we are going to take a break. We have been studying three days a week for the past 6 months, so we have decided to take a break. Hopefully the break will help us rejuvenate and go into the next level fresh and ready to learn.

Our classes are currently going well. I am teaching our level 7 class and Angela level 8. These are the two most difficult levels at our school because of the advanced grammar and lot of new vocabulary. I equate it to accelerating to 100 mph after driving at about 50 mph. The students are so far keeping up and enjoying the class. Usually these two levels get the most complaints... but what do you know, no complaints thus far!

Our classes are going well at work, but the relationships there continue to have their ups and downs. Currently, things are in tension as rumors and a bit of backstabbing is going on. Thankfully, it's not directed at us, but we still feel the effects of it. As always, we strive to do our job to the best of our ability each day, hoping that other will see this and respect it.
